Hi, I’m Brieuc Meyer. I’ve been flying for four years and have logged over 2,000 flights. Since the beginning, I’ve received guidance from some of the world’s best pilots, which has helped me reach a high level of proficiency in speedriding and speedflying, allowing me to ride the most technical lines sustainably.
From my very beginnings, Alex and Tess were kind enough to share their knowledge during the earliest stages of my progression. They helped refine my launches, took me along on many easy hike & fly missions, and gave me confidence whenever I needed it.
With more than a decade in the sport and well over 10,000 flights, Jeff is my most influential mentor. He taught me to make zero compromises on safety and kept my ego in check throughout every stage of my progression, from intermediate to advanced flying. Even today, he continues to push me to develop a deep, holistic understanding of all aspects of piloting and navigating technical big-mountain terrain.
Jeff has also worked with Ozone and Dune Rider as a test pilot, and is, to this day, the only Instructor of Instructors in the United States.
Before stepping into speedflying and speedriding, Léo was a professional BMX athlete and an experienced glider pilot. His background in high-level sports and aviation gives him a unique perspective on progression and risk management.
Deeply committed to shaping the future of these disciplines, he has spent the last few years working as a test pilot for several brands, contributing to safer and more enjoyable equipment for the community.
Léo has taken me on numerous hike & fly missions throughout the Alps—ranging from accessible training spots to highly technical mountain lines—always ensuring that my skill level matched the demands of each adventure.
Beyond flying, we’ve shared countless evenings discussing the sport in depth, including the growing trend toward “extreme behaviour” and how thoughtful storytelling and cinematography can help de-escalate risk culture and promote a healthier, more sustainable vision of the sport.
Carl has been flying for over a decade and is the head of Ozone’s speed department. He played a major role in the long discussions with the USHPA to create a framework that would allow speedflying schools to exist, and later founded the most respected school in the United States.
He has been an essential part of my relationship with flying and my desire to contribute to the progression of the sport since the very beginning. Carl kept my ego in check and always made sure I received the right warnings and lessons at the right time.
